Description
Plavac Križ “Blue Label” is another great representative of the South Dalmatian terroir. It differs from its brother with the white label due to the position of the vineyards.
This is a very generous, quintessentially Mediterranean, composedly elegant with that touch of minerality that tells you stories of the harsh terroir of Pelješac and the sea in front of it.
Soil and vine are treated by hand, without the use of harmful chemicals. The approach to wine production is ecological. Natural yeasts are preserved in the soil and in the grapes themselves, so that there is no need for selected yeasts.
Vinification
It ferments with indigenous yeasts in open vessels, then refinement in 600-litre neutral wooden containers for approximately a year. Afterwards, it rests in the bottle for six months
