La Ginestra was founded in 1978 by a group of young enthusiasts who formed a Cooperative, with the desire to maintain and renew the traditions of the Tuscan countryside.
Established on the uncultivated lands of a farm abandoned for decades, the company took the name of the beautiful weed, then present in the fields, and today it is a wonderful reality that also offers hospitality and local products.
From day one, the choice was to follow the path of organic and natural agriculture.
Dario, the young and passionate enologist from La Ginestra, produces genuine, healthy wines that express their territory and their vintage and are not subject to current fashion, but only to nature.
In the cellar, the interventions are minimal or nil and it is almost incredible to be able to savor the taste of a real Chianti, of a slightly pink petnat obtained from Sangiovese grapes, or a superb orange wine macerated in amphorae.
The choice is to be above all observers with love and passion, accompanying the grapes in their natural transformation into wine.
