Description

Buna is Tomislav Veseljak’s new creation. It is a cider made from old varieties of wild apples that grow at the foot of Papuk forest, in the heart of the Slavonia region, at 280 meters above sea level. The orchard is organically certified, never treated, and apples grow on independent trees. The cider is fermented without any chemical addition and using only the yeast present on the skin of the apples. The second fermentation happens directly in the bottle and gives a natural effervescence and a delicate, fresh apple flavor to the cider.
The name “Buna” means “revolt” in Croatian and we really are witnessing a new revolution here! The only problem? Just 800 bottles produced!
