Description
The Brunello by Podere Sante Marie represents the elegance and the terroir of the best wines of Montalcino linked to the immediate sensation of purity that is found with every sip. A unique wine, strongly territorial and stunningly drinkable.
We are faced with one of the very few bottles of Brunello that we can define as completely natural; no intervention in the vineyard (three small hectares of Sangiovese) where even the sulfur is replaced by a natural algae-based preparation administered a couple of times a year if necessary.
The use of sulfur dioxide is almost non-existent. No artifice, and no use of chemistry, no clarifications, no filtrations.
A splendid wine, strongly territorial, elegant and refined. Unforgettable
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentations for 4-5 weeks without temperature control and aging in large 25 hl oak barrels for a period ranging from 36 to 48 months
Pairing
Mature cheeses and roast meats. Huge with game meat and strong aromas.
