Ageno of La Stoppa is a macerated white wine of great expressiveness, which in itself embodies both the elegance of La Stoppa wines and the rusticity of the peasant soul. A sunny, rich, enveloping, long and savory wine, a tribute to the founder of the company. Complex, charming, soft and well balanced by a great freshness
This wine is made from a combination of three white grape varieties: Malvasia, Trebbiano, and the extremely local variety known as Ortrugo, with the majority of the wine being Malvasia grown on 36-year-old vines.
This 1919 is the 4th vintage of Ageno of which only about 160 cases are made; this vintage appear very and characterized by great freshness; already perfect for drinking but also for aging.
