Grande Waldo by Nikolas Juretic is a particular and intriguing wine that combines elegance, richness and energy in a very drinkable and satisfying sip. Obtained from a master blend of Malvasia, Tocaj and Ribolla, with short maceration on the skins, and then refined in used oak barrels.
An impressive wine difficult to forget.
The grapes are harvested by hand in little boxes when the parcel is ready, the mixed varieties in the same field are harvested together. We process the grapes stomping them with the feet without de-stemming and start the maceration in concrete vats. The fermentation starts spontaneously and the maceration is from 3 to 6 days long. After the pressing, the wine is transferred in oak barrels and finish the fermentation and ages for 11 months.
An excellent pairing for fish based dishes, perfect with pasta and sardines
but we are talking about one of those rare wines that make any moment of the day pleasant
