Vino Gross

Vino Gross is located in the Slovenian wine-growing region of Štajerska Slovenija, more precisely in the Haloze region near the town of Ptuj; a small region blessed by the influence of the Alps and the Adriatic Sea
Michael and his wife Maria Gross are for sure the heart and soul of Vino Gross. Working from the beginning, in 2014, hand in hand with the local people and in the spirit of maintaining good relations with their neighbors.
All grapes are organic cultivated and the terraced vineyards are worked only by hand
After natural fermentation the wines spend at least a full year in the cellar giving them plenty of time on the full lees before bottling. More and more they are also bottling directly from barrel, making sure there is even less intervention from grape to bottle. Wines are completely natural with no sulfites added at any stage.
Gross is certainly one of the most promising new producers of natural wine in Slovenia.
